Frustrated w/ Restrictions......

Well this past week has been very busy as usual.  I was wondering if it would slow down in June.  It doesn’t look like it will, I am already booked through mid month, with stuff.  Which is fine…. J  But I am getting more tired, and learning, I can not do as much as much as I would like.  I am very stubborn, and my restrictions that keep adding up, get me frustrated.  I want to be able to do more.  Even doing laundry this past weekend pooped me out.  I had to take a break mid-way through and relax.
Last week was busy with work, and I started my first class of Speech, for school.  So after the 6 weeks of school is up, I will only have 1 week to go.  Talk about anxious!! LOL I was going to take my computer class over the summer, but we decided I will be so busy and focused on my boy, even the 4 hrs away on weds, wouldn’t be good.  So I will make up that class next spring or summer sometime, not a big deal.  I will resume again in the fall (Sept).
On Friday, had a half day, and went to my last ultrasound.  Was so happy to see my big boy.  He is growing on schedule, and was at 4lbs- 11oz so far.  All his organs looked healthy and in place, and developed as they should be.  His heartbeat was 148, which has been normal and healthy for him.  He is still moving around like clockwork, every 2hrs.  He’s of course getting stronger, so he’s getting some good kicks in there now.   My BFF Mary, went with for the Ultrasound.  Was nice for her to be able to see him in there J  Since she will be seeing a lot more of me in 6 wks! Lol  Yeah her and the hubby will be in the room.  She is picture person, and he will be there for me to squeeze!!!  After the US, we headed back home, changed, and got ready for the evening.  Which we had a Tim McGraw concert.  It was very fun, I think the baby even liked it.   It was outdoors, so it wasn’t too loud for him, and I was able to sit on my blanket, if I got tired.  Which I did, around 10pm.  Was nice to spend the night with my friends, and enjoy some great music!  Makes me look so forward to this summer.  So many plans, and so many things we want to do.  Just hope my little guy will be ready for all our adventures. J
Saturday, was a good day to sleep in a little.   Then Jimmy and I ran some errands, and then rented some movies for the night.  Watched “This is 40”, some hilarious stuff about kids and family.   All in all a busy and relaxing day, at the same time.  Then watched game 5 of the Hawks, Redwings series… Hawks won!!!  Sunday we went and saw Fast n Furious 6.  Was very good!  Those movies are rarely a let down.  That night, we watched the movie we didn’t’ get to, from sat night. “Django” was interesting I suppose.
Yesterday was Memorial Day, so it was nice being off.  Enjoyed sleeping in, doesn’t happen that often.  Then did nothing all day, but laundry and some light cleaning.  Otherwise, I was tired and laid on the couch and watched tv, and saw the first Star Trek movie.  Then it was time for Game 6… which was another good one… had us worried for a bit, but ended up good!  So Wednesday will be Game 7, and I have school, but I will be keeping updated from my phone.  This is going to be very interesting.  I will either have a very happy husband after Weds night, or a semi cranky pants for a little bit, if his team wins or loses.  Yikes ;-/
Last week, one of my friends, had her baby boy, and he was able to come home yesterday.   Very excited for them.  He is a cutie!! \
Other than all that, it’s just the sleeping, that is getting to me.  I am up every 2 hrs… so I am perfectly ready for a new born LOL  but I sleep with my body pillow to my right, and two other pillows to my left.  I switch sides throughout the night, not fully sleeping on my side anymore, kind of propped in an angled position.  I slept on the couch for an hour Sunday morning.  It was comfy, so that may be my new go to spot soon.  I also need it very cold in the room when I am sleeping.  I had the air on last night, and I still managed to break a sweat.  LOVELY lol

I am looking forward to this weekend.  We have baby shower-palooza’s this weekend.  Mine is on Saturday and my cousins is Sunday.   So it will be nice to see family and friends all weekend.  I’ve been stalking the weather forecast, and the rain better go away!

Chubbs and his cheeks :)

All his bones and heart, and organs are good! <3

He's the size of a Pinneapple :P

Busy Times......Busier times ahead....

Well the past two weeks have been crazy busy.  Between Arielle's prom one weekend, to mini girls trip and mother's day the next weekend.  Time is flying.  Not to mention Doc visits in between.
I had gone back to my doc May 6th, for a follow up on my sugar levels.  I was about 60% he said.  He was ok with still not putting me on medication, but still wanted me to monitor my levels every day, 4 times a day.  So that has been fun. UGGGGGHHHH....  At that visit he also mentioned that he thought the little man was growing ahead of schedule. We would know more at the ultrasound on the 24th.  But he mentioned, that he may induce me the week before my due date, if needed.  So we will see, we will know more, when we get to see his growth, during the ultrasound.  He's a healthy boy :) and his Heartbeat is always good.
Last week was a nice 4 day work week.  I started training my new temp, which is going MUCH better.  She  catches on much faster, and takes great notes.  So I feel a bit better, leaving and knowing, things may be ok. But I think I will still be monitoring things from home, from time to time, among a few others things. Oh well.
Last Friday, I was off, and in the morning, Mary and I had a plane to catch to Minnesota, for the Mall of America for the weekend.  We needed a little girls weekend.  Before all the craziness of a baby, and the summer brought us.  It was a much needed break.  We had fun shopping of course, as well at the Aquarium and Bubba Gumps for dinner one night.
I came back on Sunday afternoon.  Which was Mother's Day.  Was greeted with a nice card from my step-daughter. She is so sweet sometimes, for a teenager. :-)  Then later in the night, Jimmy and I went to Big Bowl , for dinner.   Yummmm... which he got me a wine.  I hadn't had much but a few sips, this whole time, while pregnant.  He said, I could have a glass.  I still didn't drink the whole thing, and had him help me.  I guess it's a mental block.  But I will be drinking plenty of wine afterwards, no worries. :)
This past week, seemed so crazy at work.  Was a shortened week though, which was VERY nice.  Wednesday, I wasn't feeling so great, and was VERY tired.   I haven't been sleeping that great this past week.  My knees and ankles have decided to give me more aches and pains, and my hips, when I sleep.  or when trying to sleep.  So I had about 3 nights in a row, of finally falling asleep around 2am.  Which when the alarm goes off at 6am, isn't that long. :(  So I all caught up to me, on Wednesday.  I slept till noon that day, and seemed to have sweat a fever out, i didn't even know i had.
Friday I had another follow up appointment with the doc.  I went into work early, to leave early.  Which was nice, and I can't wait to do it again this Friday.  But all was good, he still was ok with not putting me on meds, and the baby's heartbeat was normal.  He is always in the 140's.  I have scheduled appointments for the next 6 weeks.  This Friday is the Ultrasound, and then every Thursday in June.  It seems like a lot, but It's better to be over prepared, than anything.
I am starting to get a bit nervous and anxious at the same time.  I've talked with some people, about the big day.  I feel a little relieved and at the same time, still freaked.  I just want that part over with, so we can get to the after part, and my little man is here.
I am looking forward to the next 7 weeks, and hope they fly by, like the past 33 have.  I just feel like the pains, that have surfaced, will be the worst of it.  But if I can say I had 7 months with no problems, and only 2 with, I will take it.  He is all worth it.  Even when he kicks me really hard, and likes to bury himself in my ribs.  Still makes me smile, cause I love feeling him move around.  I really can't wait until he is hear.  And I will remind him how he was such a pain in my ribs :-P as he gets older.  But my tattoos, that I will be getting for him, will make them even more special.  They will be on my right ribs, where he seems to favor going to.
I look forward to this week and Memorial weekend ahead.  And the remaining journey I have left.

Crossing into single digits....

Well it was another busy week.  Hard to imagine, we are coming up on only 9 weeks left.  Amazing how the time has flown.  At least I think so.  LOL But I have a feeling, since I am so impatient, the remaining time will drag.  But so much will be going on in May, that all I will have to do, is hopefully just relax in June. Yeah right! :)
Last week, was a bit hectic.  Work, school, and getting kid ready for Prom. Tuesday was Prom shopping, and boy was that fun. (Said Sarcastically)
Wednesday was school, it was a pretty short, class, since we only have one left, which is a test.  We went over 3 chapters, and that was it! I will take it.
Thursday wasn't much, but then Friday kicked off the weekend.  Which I am still tired from. Friday we went out with some friends to see the movie Iron Man 3.  That was good.  I realized that I need to start going potty, before a 2hr movie.  I felt bad, that I had to get up, mid movie, to use the bathroom.  But there was no way I was holding it another hour. LOL
Then Saturday, we got up.  I cleaned a little, and then had some "me" time to do my toes and nails, while the house was empty.  I have to take advantage of that while I can. :) Then in the afternoon, took the girl to get her hair done.  Looked so good.  We went and took pictures shortly after, and then they were off to prom.  Jimmy and I then tackled her bedroom, mainly the closet.  We emptied it out, and put new shelves inside.  This was good to do, while she was out of the house, and out of the way.  :) While he was putting the shelving up, I was doing some "nesting" of my own.  Cleaned the rest of her room, and organized it.  Then I moved over to the babies room, where I finished a fleece cover for the mobile, along with a fleece cover for the railing of the crib.  Got those ideas from Pinterest, LOVE that site.  We didn't get done until late, seemed like it took forever, but it was nice, we watched some hockey, and The Voice, while we worked.  Then I figured, I would try and stay up, since I had to pick up the kids from Prom in a couple hrs.  But I ended up falling asleep for about 2 hrs.  Woke up at 3:30 and went and picked them up around 4.  They went on a post prom cruise downtown, on the Odyssey.  They said it was amazing.  Man proms sure have changed, since we had gone.  By the time we had returned home, I tried going back to sleep, but somehow couldn't.  Jimmy's snoring had me up, and then the birds outside were coming out.  Soooo I didn't end up falling asleep until 6am.... then woke around 10....
We decided to head to Lombard for the Lilac fest, which had a craft fair.  That my cousin was involved with.  We stopped by their booth a couple times, and ended up getting some Cowboys and Lions Bag-O Bags, for our boards that Jimmy is going to be making.  :) (Jimmy thinks he will be picking his own teams he likes.. hmmm we will see about that) lmao.....  And a cat toy, that the cats, LOVED when we got home.
I wanted to take a nap, and listen/watch the Hawks game, once we got home.  I ended up dozing off for about 20-30mins maybe.  Then our friends invited us to dinner.  So for Cinco de Mayo, we went out for Sushi.  LOL
I am pooped just reliving this past week LOL... So needless to say, I am tired today.  I just want to crash when I get home later.  I have a follow up doc apt to attend to first, so we will see how that goes.
In baby news.... he's still moving around like crazy.  We still play our little game, when he kicks me, I rub my belly and he kicks back.  It's too cute.  I find myself watching my stomach during work, or just sitting on the couch, I can see him kicking.  He is getting stronger each week, So I fear I will be in for it next month.  Heartburn has been fun.  This past week, I have been battling the soar ankles and calves.  They swell a little, depending on the heat, but for the most part, just sore.  Also the veins, BLUE! and look creepy, so I wont be wearing shorts any time soon... maybe just capris LOL  Each week, I am looking more towards what lies ahead.  I can't wait to meet him, and start spoiling him with my love. :) Oh and I've been using my heart monitor, and his HB has been consistent in the 130's-140's... strong and good :-) <3
